About 6 miles away are both the attractive market town of Hatherleigh and Okehampton, gateway to superb walking and riding in wildly beautiful Dartmoor. Castle Drogo, Widecombe-in-the-Moor and Rosemoor RHS Gardens, are a short trip; sandy beaches at Bude, Westward Ho! and Exmouth are under ¾ hour's drive. Attractive, very comfortable and well equipped, all the cottages are grouped around a landscaped courtyard (car free except for unloading and disabled visitors), each enjoying its own patio area.
