Within 1½ miles are the amenities of Llanfair Caereinion and golf and a leisure centre are available in the picturesque nearby market town of Welshpool. Oswestry, Newtown, Powis Castle, the steam railway, Lake Vyrnwy, the coast, Portmeirion and magnificent Snowdonia are all within easy reach.
