Spectacular panoramic views of the surrounding countryside are afforded by the cottages, all of which date back to the 17th Century and have been converted to exacting standards whilst retaining many of the original timbers and materials. Within 1½ miles are the amenities of Llanfair Caereinion and golf and a leisure centre are available in the picturesque nearby market town of Welshpool. Oswestry, Newtown, Powis Castle, the steam railway, Lake Vyrnwy, the coast, Portmeirion and magnificent Snowdonia are all within easy reach.
